The selection process was overseen by a designated committee and included Directors of Accounts from the Federal Civil Service.
This process was executed in three distinct phases, comprising a written assessment, an ICT proficiency examination, and oral interviews.
The Presidency highlighted that the selection process aimed to foster transparency, competence, and excellence in public service, reflecting Tinubu’s dedication to reforming Nigeria’s financial management framework.
According to the statement, Ogunjimi, aged 57, brings extensive experience and expertise to the position.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 1990, followed by a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Lagos.
