Redeemed Christian Church of God covers medical expenses for five newborns

In celebration of the 83rd birthday of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the RCCG Joseph’s Palace in Lagos provided care packages and paid the medical expenses for five newborns. On Thursday, the church announced that the recipients, who were born at the Lagos State Maternal and Child Centre in Amuwo Odofin, included three delivered naturally and two via caesarean section, all on March 2, 2025, coinciding with Pastor Adeboye's birthday.

The outreach initiative, led by Assistant Pastor Martins Olusakin of Youth Province One, aims to embody Adeboye’s teachings of love, kindness, and generosity. A statement from the parish noted, “Motivated by the principles and teachings of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Youth Province One initiated a Corporate Social Responsibility project to positively impact the community.”

Acknowledging the significance of service and compassion, the CSR unit devoted time, resources, and effort to assist those in need at the Lagos State Maternal and Child Centre on March 3, 2025. This initiative was centered on providing care packages for newborns and covering the medical costs for all babies born on March 2, in honor of Pastor Adeboye’s 83rd birthday. In total, five children were born—three through natural delivery and two via caesarean section. Despite their parents' varied religious affiliations, the love of Jesus unites all.

The statement further highlighted that the initiative aimed to encourage others to engage in acts of service and kindness, reflecting Adeboye’s dedication to love, unity, and altruism. Through this endeavor, the CSR unit successfully brought joy and relief to many, exemplifying Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s message of love, kindness, and generosity.
